About the Authors...
Deb lived in Australia for almost eight years after meeting an Aussie in the UK. She settled in Newcastle, a city north of Sydney after a stint in Adelaide and was initially blown away by the bold blue sky, loud birds, smell of eucalyptus in the air and all the happy people! Her favourite things about Australia are the weather, the positivity of the people and the different architecture and houses. She loves the Hunter Valley, Sydney and Tasmania and has recently enjoyed spending time in the Blue Mountains. Deb now lives in Hong Kong with her husband and young son but plans to head back to Australia as regularly as possible!
Laura lived in Australia for almost 10 years before returning home to UK after having a little boy. Laura also lived in the beachy city of Newcastle with stints in Sydney, Brisbane and Darwin. Her first impressions of Australia are also her favourite things - the beautiful blue sky, the warm weather, especially in winter, the friendliness of the people, the wide roads and the amazing cafes.
Laura has strong connections with Australia and plans to return in the future.

Loved this book, very informative. I'm a British citizen who grew up in America so moving to Australia is a bit scary, however my fiance who is Australian says I'll be fine because I'm coming from another large western country with Aussie similarities and I'm already familiar with the commonwealth ways due to being English. Obviously there will be differences but this book certainly gave me a better idea. Only issue I foresee for myself: driving.Product details

I stumbled across this ebook by chance after looking for information about moving to Australia. The ebook is concise, well written and covers a range of interesting topics. The most enjoyable part of the read for me though was the genuine affection that these two ladies have for the country they chose to live for many years. At this price it is a bargain. I recommend to anybody looking to relocate down under or just interested in reading about this great country from a different perspective.
